Ahead of the global release on January 21st, the Nike PG 5 has become available through Nike By You, the Swoosh’s customizable platform that gives considerable control to the consumer on a colorway standpoint. For Paul George’s fifth model, Nike has introduced two iterations of a watery embroidery reflecting the Palmdale native’s love of fishing, and interestingly enough, choosing neither is not an option. Fish-scale panels can be selected for the heel-panel if a standard solid color isn’t your thing, and special midsole patterns mimicking the murky waters of fishing ponds can also be chosen.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the Nike By You PG 5 is the ability to create alternate color-blocking on the upper, creating some vivid contrast typically seen in the brand’s popular “What The” offerings. You can, however choose to go with symmetry with matching colors.

The Nike By You PG 5 is available now for Nike members at $130. The PG 5 will launch globally on January 21st.
