Nike SB Dunk Low “Hacky Sack”

Sneaker News clued you in on the ‘Hacky Sack Pack’ forthcoming from Nike Skateboarding last week, along with word that there could be a Dunk joining those Janoskis and Kostons we showed you (plus an as yet unseen Project BA).  It seemed to make sense because these Nike SB Dunk Lows have the same color code, and indeed, the woven multicolor material with black accents on a white sole works just as well on the Dunk as the aforementioned signatures.  Click in for a closer look and let us know if you’ll be kicking these into your sneaker circle this weekend.

Vans Old Skool “Sudan Brown”

The Vans Old Skool came straight out of the factory in 1977 equipped with two-tone colorways plus white on the Jazz Stripes and Waffle soles.  So while we’re absolutely familiar with the basic layout of this latest pair, the fact that the entire upper is done in shades of brown will make for a particularly strong reaction from those who know this shoe.  It’s all at once old school with the multi-brown suede and canvas certainly resembling the same late 70s era, though it’s equally at home in today’s tonal landscape.  Click in to see a few more angles, then cop yours at skate shops like Premier.

Vans’ most significant Italian partnership to date has been with Diemme, and along with their fine footwear contributions, there’s plenty of room for more countrymen to go Off the Wall.  This new set of Prima Visione x Vans Vault kicks includes the Era LX and 106 Vulc LX, with two of the former and one of the latter in the Euro fashion label’s textiles.  Click in so you can see each of the three pairs individually, then cop yours from top Vans retailers like New York’s Kith.

adidas Gonz Pro – Black – Solar Blue

Given the current crossover between skateboarding and running shoes, is it possible the ZX Vulc will have a similar impact for adidas Skate as the ZX Flux is having for Originals?  We’ll only know once they actually hit stores, but Three Stripes has been deliberate with that rollout, as well as other new skate shoes like the pair pictured above.  The adidas Gonz Pro is of course Mark Gonzales’ signature shoe, the longest-tenured adi-rider’s personalized branding present at the heel of an otherwise Orlando Magic sort of colorway.  Check them out from a few more angles below, then cop yours from shops like Flatspot.

Vans Vault OG Classics for Summer 2014

vans vault og classics summer 2014 01 570x399 Vans Vault OG Classics for Summer 2014

About a week ago, one of Off the Wall’s California neighbors was the first to announce they had stock of a new set of Vans Vault Sk8-His.  These pairs were united in their use of a horizontal pinstripe side panel, and as it turns out, they together only represent half of a larger pack.  Interestingly enough, the Old Skool LXes that make up the other half (referred to as OG Style 36s here) skip that striped look entirely, but instead find a common ground with vintage coloring.  Click in to see all four pairs, then find yours at Vans Vault stockists.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski – Turbo Green – Obsidian

The newly revealed ‘Hacky Sack’ colorway coming up later this month has a dope woven upper, but let’s go back and examine one of the more fundamental ways to apply a bit more color to the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski. This pair mixes Obsidian and Turbo Green canvases (the former adding a bit of perfed leather at the ankle), the layout keeping the former to mostly the underlay, with the exception of the rear which is brought in to the teal saddle in a way that emphasizes the heel as we’ve seen on many recent NSW releases. Click in to take a closer view, then cop yours from shops like Premier.

Independent x Vans Sk8-Hi Pro

Two of the skateboarding world’s enduring brands come together on this latest Off the Wall collaboration.  The Independent x Vans Sk8-Hi Pro applies the famed cross logo from one of the longest running truck brands to the side panels of the original hightop skate shoe.  The choice of model here was probably not a coincidence, as the Sk8-Hi debuted the same year Independent opened for business (though had they dropped it last year, it would have coincided with both 35th anniversaries).  Click in to get a closer view, then cop yours from shops like Concepts.
