Supra continues its string of classic sitcom derived pack names with a new duo that also furthers the Crown brand’s nod to Kanye West. All of the aforementioned nicknames have a light riddle component to them, so following up on last week’s ‘Drummond’ Skytops, you’ll naturally think of Air Yeezy 2 when seeing these two snake-detailed Supra Vaider Mids. One goes with a Knicks colorway and the Yeezy 2-like python texture while another goes with a more traditional black/grey/red but has its fair share of serpentine sections. Let us know which you like best after seeing both below, then grab your selection straight from Supra.

In the twenty years since his artwork graced the cover of legendary skate tape ‘Finally’ by NorCal skateshop FTC, Teren Jones changed the spelling of his stage name, posed as a cartoon gorilla and fought evil corporate robots in the future. So much has changed that many Sneaker News readers have never used a VCR, and that’s why the doodles by the man best known as Del the Funky Homosapien make this otherwise conservative colorway on the FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Finally’ so special. The handstyles somewhere between Oakland graffiti and John Kricfalusi create every bit the early ’90s time capsule feeling you’d get from hearing Del’s ‘Worldwide’. And speaking of global trends, our report here concerns availability now in Europe, so check out some new images of the ‘Finally’ Dunk SBs below and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.

With the time tested vulcanized sole and a silhouette combining classic skate lines with modern precision, the Nike SB V-Rod is one of those shoes that could potentially remain in rotation into perpetuity Perhaps Nike Skateboarding recognizes this, and their response is to dole out Vulc Rods at a moderate pace to facilitate a longterm sustainability. In any case, this greyed-out V-Rod has the understated good looks you’ll come back to again and again, and it’s available right now at Flatspot.

Even with his seventh Nike Skateboarding signature shoe right around the corner, Paul Rodriguez still has one version of his fifth in circulation. The Nike P-Rod V LR represents the marriage between a classic vulcanized sole and Nike’s cutting edge LunarLon cushioning platform. This latest colorway implements a rarely seen feature for this silhouette, as the Squadron Blue suede upper is held together with a white contrast stitch. It’s got a sort of inverted blueprint look that works well with Pimento Swooshes and foxing, and you can find your pair available today at Premier.

If you went back to the days of Caddyshack, there wasn’t a tremendous overlap between golf and skateboarding. We’ve come a long way in both sports and culturally in general, which means considerably more give and take between these previously disparate sporting worlds. Eric Koston is a fine example, an extremely successful skater who, similar to the ultimate Nike signature athlete in Michael Jordan, finds that his competitive drive translates perfectly to the links. The Nike Koston 2 IT reminds us how much both of these activities depend on traction, the IT swapping out a carefully articulated herringbone starburst for a grass-grabbing nubby bottom. The black leather colorway with subtle red accents is a winner anywhere you’d like to wear it, and you’ll find the Nike Golf co-signed Koston 2 IT available at select SB shops like Premier.
