The next adidas Consortium release on deck is the stony grey adidas Consortium Centaur curated by the folks at Hanon out in Aberdeen, Scotland. The sneakers reflect Europe’s long standing love affair with adidas trainers, opting not too get too insane with the blocking and instead going for a muted set of greys after Hanon’s hometown’s “Granite City” nickname. Hit the jump with us for a video look book featuring the Hanon x adidas Consortium Centaur and look for them to drop out in Scotland on January 26th, with a worldwide release going doing the next Saturday, February 2nd.

Hanon is the latest European entity to get their own adidas Consortium release in the form of the newly revived adidas Consortium CNTR. The adidas Centaur is a model that’s not been active since its OG 1984 release, making this upcoming collaboration all the more exciting for Three Stripes historians. The release pays tribute to Hanon’s home city of Aberdeen, the accents throughout serving up representations of the city’s shifting atmosphere throughout the year. 50 pairs of the sneakers will release at Hanon on January 26th, with an accompanying dust bag and ‘Granite’ t-shirt. On top of that, pairs will be available on the Hanon webshop (minus the accompanying shirt). Get a look after the jump and tell us if you’re feeling the stony grey sneakers.

Just a day after the project was teased and we’re already getting a complete view of what’s in store for the Hanon x adidas Consortium team up. Pictured here is the red and grey result in all its glory, with the adidas Consortium CNTR being the model selected for the team up. The stony colorway is apparently a nod to Hanon’s hometown of Aberdeen and its “Granite City” nickname. Hit the jump for the full look at the Hanon x adidas Consortium CNTR and look for them to drop at Hanon come January 26th. As always, check back with Sneaker News for word on whether or not they’ll be stopping by at other retailers around the globe.

The adidas Consortium line keeps things moving with its overseas collaborations, linking up with Scottish shop Hanon following their recent Solebox project. At this point the details are pretty slim and the only thing we’ve got to work with is this rear teaser shot that shows off some deep grey suede and minimal amounts of red for pop. You’ll notice Hanon’s fireball logo showing up in separate spots of both pairs of what just might be a retro from the ZX series of runners. Let us know in the comments if this is a collaboration you’re anticipating and stick around to find out what becomes of the project, which should arrive this month at Hanon.

The adidas Consortium category is pulling double duty tomorrow, with the return of the adidas Torsion Allegra marked by both an in-house style and a slick Solebox crafted style. Rather than leaning on any teddy bears, wings, or other wild accoutrements the sneaker plays the retro lane, breathing plenty of new life into this model given the clean blocking served up on both pairs. Check out the Solebox x adidas Consortium Torsion Allegra and the grey/black/red inline version after the jump and check with adidas Consortium retailers like Sneaker Politics for availability.

It’s not at all shocking that a brand whose first Weapon collaboration with Converse told us “War is Big Business”, would team up with one of the world’s foremost purveyors of stylish camouflage prints. The Brand with the Three Stripes brings together two giants of the streetwear world as Japan’s A Bathing Ape team up with West Coast kings Undefeated for a trio of military-inspired releases coming up in just over two weeks. The UNDFTD x BAPE x adidas Originals Campus comes in your choice of olive or black, two subdued camo-lined styles that play the background to a GI Joe of a ZX 5000 runner. Undftd already had their hand at the ZX 8000 during the Consortium aZX mega-merger and now they can add 1988′s other Torsion headliner to their sneaker resumes; have a closer look below so you can let us know where your allegiances lie and stick with Sneaker News as we approach the Friday, October 26th release date.

ADIDAS CLASSICS WEEK
In 2004, adidas Originals celebrated the milestone 35th Anniversary of the adidas Superstar – a sneaker that is undoubtedly one of the most iconic sneakers in the history of the genre. Up there with the Chuck Taylor and the Air Jordan 1, the Superstar was at the helm of a rebellious movement that combined sport, street culture, hip-hop, dance, and anything that was seemingly against the quite norm. For the 35th Anniversary, adidas embarked upon the adidas Superstar35 Project – a collection of thirty-five Superstars categorized into five categories. Part of the Consortium series was Japan-based Neighborhood, who re-built the classic Superstar with premium materials in a no-frills tonal-black appeal and a yellowed sole. The Consortium Series of the entire Superstar35 project were incredibly tough to obtain, as they were released on New Year’s Eve, and even compared to the 34 other designs of the set, NBHD’s design stood at the top of the heap. More of this adidas icon just ahead, so take a look and stay tuned for more adidas Classics Revisited features throughout the remainder of the week.
