The Air Jordan X “Steel” has been through a couple slight changes over the course of its retro treatment. When the sneaker came back in 2005 for example there was a red Jumpman hit on the bottom, where the OG had a light blue treatment down there. The 2013 version is alleged to have the alternate yellow/blue set up across the two sneakers, one that we’ve seen across the sample pairs that show up from time to time. This pair may or may not be of that persuasion, as only one outsole is on display (Featuring a yellow Jumpman for what its’ worth). Get a look at this unreleased Air Jordan X sample below and then check out the auction from oregonsole on eBay.

We close out tonight’s magnificent preview of Holiday 2013 Air Jordan Retro releases with a look at the Air Jordan X ‘Steel’ – another original from the 1990′s Air Jordan catalog. Despite being an original colorway, Michael Jordan actually never played in these, and with some rumors regarding a special detail on these focusing on the “Laney” concept, could we expect something similar to this unreleased sample of the Steel X, which featured blue and yellow Jumpman logos on the outsole, or could Jordan Brand re-do the outsole and add in some other highlights in Jordan’s high-school career? We’ve got another shot of this highly-anticipated Retro drop so take a look and stay tuned for more.
