Jordan Brand All Star 2012 PE Pack Release Reminder

Even though two of them switched teams and one of them switched conferences, Jordan Brand still managed to get three of the ten 2012 NBA All-Star Game starting spots for their signature athletes.  Chris Paul’s West red Jordan CP3.V ‘All-Star’ will be considerably more similar to his everyday attire than in 2011, while Carmelo Anthony sees the Eastern Conference’s traditional blue on his Melo M8 for the first time in the series history.  Dwyane Wade’s Fly Wade 2 rounds out the East squad heavy on 2003 draft pics, and speaking of timing your selections just right, these three are about to go on sale tomorrow at House of Hoops nationwide along with the Foot Locker in New York’s Times Square (the CP3. V will release on Friday). We’ve got a detailed set of images of Jordan Brand’s All-Star Game presence below so check ‘em out and let us know which JB All-Star will have the best overall performance!

Jordan Brand 2012 NBA All Star Pack

Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul – they’ll be busy on the 26th of February, because they’re representing their respective Conferences in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game. Jordan Brand’s Big Three has a copious amount of All-Star appearance under its collective belt, and for this upcoming occasion, they’ll be rocking some new PE colorways of their signature shoes. Starting with the Eastern stars, Dwyane Wade will wear a sick White/Royal/Navy colorway of the Jordan Fly Wade 2 and Carmelo Anthony will rock a similar colorway of the Jordan Melo M8 with a jaw-dropping navy-blue elephant print, while the West’s best point guard will rock the Red/White colorway seen in our Jordan CP3.V Media Launch coverage from last month. Which of the three do you like best? You can see these in-game on February 26th, or cop your own on February 23rd when all three will hit select Jordan Brand retailers, so take a look below and let us know what you think.

Jordan CP3.V Stealth Varsity Red Light Graphite White

Chris Paul has adapted to the Los Angeles lifestyle quite well thus far, average his typical elite-PG numbers while leading the Clippers atop the Pacific division. He’s worn a slew of PE colorways of the Jordan CP3.V since then, but we’ve yet to see him wear the upcoming Stealth/Varsity Red colorway, which would serve as a nice alternate selection to the Clippers’ uniforms. It features a two-toned grey upper with just the right hints of Varsity Red, completed with a white inner lining and outsole to create that Varsity-like nature of the Clippers’ uniforms. These are slated for a March release at $120 so take a look at the extra angles below and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand footwear updates.

NBA Feet: Around The League 1/25 1/26

Closing out this week in NBA action is a variety of new kicks that you don’t want to miss! We already showed you Rip Hamilton’s White/Cement IVs yesterday, but he actually ‘flipped’ to the ‘Black Flip’ for the second half of the game. Mario Chalmers also wore the Air Jordan XIX, following his XVII sighting not long ago. The Clippers bounced back from the Wednesday night’s loss by beating the Grizzlies, as Chris Paul sported a new Powder Blue/Red PE colorway of the Jordan CP3.V. On the other side, Rudy Gay wore his own Hardwood Classic PE colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer. Jordan Brand athletes Joe Johnson and Gerald Wallace broke out some kicks from last year, with JJ rocking the Prime 5 and Gerald wearing the Phase 23 Hoops. Check out all the NBA action from the last two nights after the jump and let us know what you think! via ESPN.

Chris Paul & Tom Luedecke Discuss The Jordan CP3.V

Chris Paul’s got the off-court personality and history to match his storied game. Tom Luedecke’s got a heralded legacy at Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, working on the Air Jordan 2011 and Nike Zoom Kobe V. Combine the two minds of basketball and design, and you get the Jordan CP3.V, Chris Paul’s fifth signature shoe with Jordan Brand. During the Jordan CP3.V Launch Event out in Los Angeles last week, a video camera followed CP3 and Tom around as they discussed the many layers of the Jordan CP3.V. Watch CP3 talk about his history and the attention to detail on the shoe and hear Tom’s design process of the Jordan CP3.V, emphasizing the key points of Paul’s on-court game all in the video below, and don’t forget to cop the Jordan CP3.V in Jordan Brand retailers right now.

Jordan CP3.V Black Stealth | Release Reminder

Last week, Sneaker News was one of a select group that was invited out to Los Angeles to witness the official launch of the Jordan CP3.V, Chris Paul’s fifth signature shoe with Jordan Brand. In what might be considered an unofficial new beginning (but certainly a new chapter) of CP3′s career, the Jordan CP3.V once again houses quite an assortment of Chris Paul’s personal life into the design. He’s built quite the reputation of being a family man, given by the touching and well-documented story of his 61-point game in High School, and he’s transferred everything that’s near and dear to him onto the shoe. Sneaker News detailed all of those unique details earlier, like the indented dots at the heels that represent his marriage and the birth of his son, the 61 diamond-cuts on the upper signifying his grandfather, and the ’336′ area code placed acutely on the lace-tips, but let’s not forget that the Jordan CP3.V is a top-flight performance shoe first. Designed specifically for Jordan CP3′s sprint-and-cut game, the Jordan CP3.V will undoubtedly be the perfect foundation for Chris’ new legacy in Los Angeles while adapting to basketball styles of all players. Tomorrow is the official release of the Jordan CP3.V, with the Black/White-Stealth colorway kicking things off in clean fashion. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more information and updates on the remaining CP3.V colorways like the ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ Pack, and cop a pair of the Black/Stealth CP3.V now from empire_sneakers07 on eBay.

Jordan CP3.V Quick Controls Chaos

The fast break is the most chaotic situation in basketball, a stampede streaking to the hoop with diametrically opposed goals that often come to a head with a sizeable ‘bang’.  At least that’s what happens when newly acquired Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul finds the open court where new teammates Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are certain to be lurking in search of the oop.  Jordan Brand’s ‘Quick Controls Chaos’ feature allows you to get a sense for what it’s like out there as the court general when things can get a little hairy, and you’ll see a preview video of what’s in store from the experience when you click on the jump below.  Check it out and let us know how this compares to some of the other interactive web content we’ve seen from JB to this point and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for all the upcoming Jordan CP3.V release dates, including tomorrow’s first drop.

Jordan CP3.V Jekyll & Hyde Detailed Images

Just yesterday, Sneaker News broke the news of the Jordan CP3.V ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ Pack – a high-energy set of colorways that visually represented Chris Paul’s on and off-the-court mentality. This two-pair set will release sometime during the Summer 2012 season, but let’s take a good look at what is undoubtedly the most exciting Jordan CP3 release to date; the Dr. Jekyll features a toned down tonal grey colorway with hints of hot orange, mint green, and light purple, while the Mr. Hyde utilizes an opposite color-blocking. When we say opposite, we mean exactly that; the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde are exact reverse colorways of each-other, as if the shoes were flipped inside out. Sneaker News has a nice detailed set of images waiting for you below so take a thorough look below and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan CP3.V information and updates.
