Jordan Brand has been experimenting with a variety of visible Air options in recent months, everything from the columnar-branded Take Flights to the CMFT hybrid series. The latest is dubbed Jordan Big Ups, an appropriate name for a model that utilizes a heel-to-toe airbag similar to the one on the Nike LeBron 8 and Air Max Hyperdunk 2011. That means that along with quintessential Jordan style, you get the added performance and comfort associated with Nike Air, coming in three new colorways for the holiday season. Click through to see each pair and its release date and tell us what you think about the splatter printed side panel sweeps.

Over the weekend, Sneaker News gave you a look at an all-new Jordan Brand performance footwear model titled the Jordan Big Ups. It featured a full-length 360 Max Air unit, seen first on the Jordan Take Flight of last year, with a uniquely designed upper that provided both performance and aesthetic pluses. Here we have a look at a wear-test sample of the Jordan Take Off, which at quick glance looks similar to the Air Max LeBron VII; look carefully and you’ll spot a notable difference between this sample and the Jordan Big Ups – the Max Air unit is only visible for about two-thirds of the sole. Whether this ‘Jordan Take Off’ or the Big Ups is the final product on this new basketball-ready is still not confirmed, but check out the detailed shots below and let us know which of the two you prefer, and visit the full auction from 2legit2quit78 on eBay.

Jordan Brand introduced the visible full-length Max Air unit to its line of performance footwear when it debuted the Jordan Take Flight, and since then we’ve seen a healthy usage of Max Air in a number of other Jordan Brand performance, training, and lifestyle models. The upcoming Jordan Big Ups falls in both the performance and lifestyle category, as it boasts a stylish upper design with suede and textured materials and a funky paint-splatter graphic on the upper. These are slated to hit stores this October as part of the Jordan Brand Holiday 2011 Collection, so stick with Sneaker News for more upcoming release info and let us know what you think of the Jordan Big Ups.
