Jordan Brand has always taken a conscious effort to combine aesthetics with performance. The upcoming Jordan Big Ups releases, like this Anthracite/Team Orange colorway, applies a stylish detail on the upper, utilizing a paint splatter/marble detailing that you don’t often see on a sneaker. It certainly brings a mode of unfamiliar fashion to the basketball court, especially when paired with the Anthracite Grey nubuck upper and the always-pleasing full-length Max Air. This colorway is one of a few November 2011 releases, but Nikestore has them up for grabs right now, so take a look below and let us know if you’d rock these on court.

Jordan Brand has been experimenting with a variety of visible Air options in recent months, everything from the columnar-branded Take Flights to the CMFT hybrid series. The latest is dubbed Jordan Big Ups, an appropriate name for a model that utilizes a heel-to-toe airbag similar to the one on the Nike LeBron 8 and Air Max Hyperdunk 2011. That means that along with quintessential Jordan style, you get the added performance and comfort associated with Nike Air, coming in three new colorways for the holiday season. jordan take off 04 Jordan Take Off White Black Varsity Red | Sample on eBay

Over the weekend, Sneaker News gave you a look at an all-new Jordan Brand performance footwear model titled the Jordan Big Ups. It featured a full-length 360 Max Air unit, seen first on the Jordan Take Flight of last year, with a uniquely designed upper that provided both performance and aesthetic pluses. Here we have a look at a wear-test sample of the Jordan Take Off, which at quick glance looks similar to the Air Max LeBron VII; look carefully and you’ll spot a notable difference between this sample and the Jordan Big Ups – the Max Air unit is only visible for about two-thirds of the sole. Whether this ‘Jordan Take Off’ or the Big Ups is the final product on this new basketball-ready is still not confirmed, but check out the detailed shots below and let us know which of the two you prefer, and visit the full auction from 2legit2quit78 on eBay.
