adidas has selected Justin Bieber as “The One” to carry on its latest athletic sportswear label aimed at the teenage lifestyle sector as the global brand and global pop-culture icon team up to launch the adidas NEO Collection. This two-year partnership will feature Justin Bieber as the face of the NEO seasonal campaigns as soon as the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013 collection in February. To celebrate this partnership, adidas and Bieber teamed up for the “Find My Gold Shoes” contest, but once 2013 rolls around, the Justin Bieber x adidas NEO will be available to all. Justin Bieber’s sneaker moments have been pretty varied during his career, his selections ranging from Supra to Nike to adidas. As of now it looks like that selection might be slimmed down a bit, with Bieber officially partnering with adidas NEO. The two year partnership is launching with a contest in which you can grab a free pair of the gold adidas sneakers made for Bieber, with a sort of online scavenger hunt in the works. Click through for the video of Justin introducing the partnership and keep in mind that if you manage to track down the clues and find the shoes you’ll have the opportunity to bring them to Bieber himself.

Is this where all the Nike Air Yeezy 2 pairs went? Did the celebrity set gobble them up only to have us commoners forlornly staring at the astronomical eBay prices? Realistically no, as they make up a pretty small subset of the overall shoe consuming population, but it certainly seems like a good number of famous folk felt like they couldn’t live without ‘em. With that being said you had to figure Justin Bieber would pop up in them eventually-he’s had his sneakerhead moments before, plus the overall design is in line with his tendency towards higher-cut models. Jeremy Scott isn’t the only guy who can throw some wings on a classic adidas Basketball silo. He’s not even the only guy to do it whose name starts with a ‘J’ now that Canadian hearththrob Justin Bieber has these crazy 1 of 1 custom golden adidas hightops. Bieber hit up The Shoe Surgeon to customize these 24k JS Wings 2.0 lookalikes and while the end result might not match the Surgeon’s ‘Pendleton’ Skytop IIIs in terms of detail, these most definitely got more shine thanks to their spot on Wednesday night’s ABC special. Justin Bieber was recently in Toronto, Ontario for his Justin Bieber: Home For The Holidays Concert, where he serenaded his baby sister on state. On his way to the venue, Bieber was spotted with the upcoming Jordan Spiz’ike release, controversially dubbed the ‘Bordeaux’; following his recent Air Jordan III Black/Cement sighting in the music video with Mariah Carey, is the Biebz up on Jays now? The singer, mostly recognized in the sneaker community for rocking high-to Supras on stage, may have caught the Air Jordan bug (please, let us know what your opinion on that in the comments section). Attention haters: if the recent string of Justin Bieber freestyles popping up online wasn’t enough to get your blood boiling then check this one out. The teenage heartthrob popped up in the ‘All I Want For Christmas’ music vid duet with Mariah Carey rocking the Black/Cement Air Jordan III, one of the hottest retros of the season. No word on whether he stood in line for them or not, but chances are that a dude selling as many records as he is doesn’t mind the eBay prices.
