Tomorrow, the New York Knicks will being their postseason efforts, squaring off against a tough Heat squad in Round 1 of the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Should they advance past Miami we might just see Linsanity sweep the nation once again, with reports that Jeremy Lin will indeed be ready to play by that time. At the very least we’ll certainly see Linsanity in the sneaker world once again, with the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Jeremy Lin’ seen here set to hit shelves as a quickstrike release this June. The sneakers use the chambray paneling we’ve seen elsewhere on this batch of Nike Air Force 1 Low’s, upgrading the look with the personalized touches that include the LIN tongue tag, his initials embroidered on the back badge, and of course the classic Knicks color combo. While Jeremy Lin may not be a sneakerhead in a sense that he has a mass collection of kicks in his closet, he has stated that the Air Force 1 Low is his favorite sneaker. He’s been spotted wearing Forces in casual manner, but his recent rise to stardom has earned him some Nikes from the basketball sectors in the form of PEs, special edition iDs, and even a personalized Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low. Nike Sportswear has fashioned this sick Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Jeremy Lin’ which features a Lin’s initials embroidered on the heel and a ‘Lin’ tongue label designed in the manner classic Nike NYC logo – all on a classic Knicks colorway. No word if these are just a PE for Lin or a possible release like the Hyperdunk 2011 Low, but we’ll keep you updated should more info on this interesting story develops. Although a knee injury has placed ‘Linsanity’ in a straight jacket, the Jeremy Lin collective is still celebrating the young guard’s meteoric rise to stardom. During Lin’s two-month stretch, any piece of sports apparel donning his name sold like hotcakes all around the world, and with the sudden release of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low ‘Linsanity’ earlier this month, sneakerheads were in for one final surprise of the season (unless the Knicks advance to the second round of the Playoffs, where Lin could make a return). Dropping this Saturday, April 14th, are the Linsanity Hyperdunks, so if you’ve been dying to complete your set of Jeremy Lin memorabilia, head to 21 Mercer this weekend or go ‘Linsane’ right now on eBay.

Madison Square Garden and the NBA store reports Jeremy Lin jerseys to be the top selling jerseys and fan apparel of the month. With Linsanity taking over the world, there’s no question that Lin’s status as a Taiwanese-American draws appeal from American fans as well as those in the Far East. Just yesterday, Sneaker News reported the news of Nike’s extension of Jeremy Lin’s contract with the Swoosh, and they certainly wasted no time in spreading the Linsanity as we have a look at two new t-shirts featuring the catchy bold-faced syntax on the chest. Both colorways of the t-shirt feature that camo-like print seen on Nike Basketball PE releases, so could this signify a PE for Jeremy Lin? Let us know what you think of Jeremy Lin’s future prospect as a Nike Basketball athlete (is he worthy of a sig?) and cop either new colorway right now at Nikestore, and let’s see how Linsanity erupts tonight when the New York Knicks visit the Miami Heat tonight at 7 PM EST.
