Japan’s mita sneakers is set to launch a fairly extensive list of Nike Sportswear Air Max runners and their offspring on Saturday, April 28th, and the most recent revelation isn’t just a pair that they’ll get before US retailers, but rather, one that was crafted by mita for mita.  These new mita sneakers x Nike Air Max+ 95 BBs are dubbed ‘Neo Escape 2.0′ in reference to the continuation of a theme begun back in 2006, but the color scheme is decidedly different this time around and there’s no word as of yet of other pairs joining the party.  Check out the ‘Neo Escape 2.0′ Air Max+ 95 BB after the jump and let us know if these are now on your must-import list.

mita sneakers x adidas Originals Campus 80s

Nike Sportswear’s VNTG series has been polarizing sneakerheads for about five years now, evenly splitting the masses between those who love the oxidized look and others who’d prefer to let their kicks age naturally.  adidas Originals has typically opted for other ways of expressing a vintage vibe with their releases, but on this new teamup with mita sneakers, they’ve authored something that’s going to be even more of a hate-it-or-love-it affair.  The mita sneakers x adidas Originals Campus 80s pair black nubuck and a pearly University Red compliment with one of the yellowest soles we’ve ever seen on a new sneaker.  They have an antique look that’s only going to get better as those crisp black uppers get banged up a bit, but first you’ll need to order your pair from adidas or at select retailers like Mr R Sports. mita sneakers x adidas Originals Rod Laver Vin ‘B.B.U’

What started as a single espadrille-style Rod Laver from United Arrows last week has blossomed into a full-on pack that continues the ‘B.B.U’ partnership struck between Beauty & Youth, Bedwin (& the Heartbreakers) and UNDFTD last year.  Joining that trio is Japan’s mita sneakers who’ve patterned their adidas Originals Rod Laver Vin after the legendary Samba indoor soccer shoe.  These strongly resemble the OG Samba, from their black suede uppers to the extended tongue and gum sole, but these keep with the ultra-clean Rod Laver style, simply implying Three Stripes with six perf columns on the side panels.  Check these out up close after the jump and let us know if they’re worth importing when the ‘B.B.U’ Rod Laver Vins arrive at select retailers on Saturday, April 28th.  Photos: EyesCream

mita sneakers reebok insta pump fury leopard 3 570x427 Reebok Insta Pump Fury New Colorways @ Extra Butter

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury is one of those models that some sneakerheads would say doesn’t get the kind of attention it deserves in the US (though that’s precicely the kind of esoteric appeal that tends to attract that same cult following).  So when a release like this comes along that brings not only a Japanese collaboration but one of the OG colorways stateside, you’re looking at an explosion about to go down.  The mita sneakers x Reebok Insta Pump Fury brings the leopard print that’s trending right now together with the original ‘Citron’/'Firecracker Red’ colorway (limited to 2012 pairs) for a two-pack first believed a Japanese exclusive that’s going to have RBK fanatics hitting up New York’s Extra Butter before it’s too late.

For those out there who hoped it never would end, is[n't] it a good thing that the Reebok Workout is going just as strong after 25 years as the Paula Abdul samples J.Cole borrowed for his hit single by the same name?  The answer is an obvious ‘yes’, and seeing these 25th anniversary collaborative designs starting to roll in means proof positive that this shoe can handle more than that (still amazing) OG white leather/grey accent look.  Coming on the heels of Solebox’ shipped-on-ice fishscale previews comes the mita sneakers Workout, a tribute to rugged workwear crafted in wheat heavy duty canvas with corded boot laces thrown in to complete the blue collar look.  We expect additional colorways to be rolled out almost daily for the next bit as we look through the entire 15-pair collection, so check out this edition after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the rest of the 25th Anniversary Reebok Workout collection.

The New Balance 581 has yet to hit retailers, but it’s clear the company is putting quite a bit of energy behind it, with no fewer than six colorways and four collaborative releases on the way.  The above pictured pair falls into that latter category, having been designed by one of Japan’s leading sneaker retailers and a longtime NB teammate.  The mita sneakers x New Balance ML581 comes in a range of colors so neutral, it’s basically impossible to find something you can’t wear with them.  The range of soft brown and off-white tones is expansive, and gets a nice washed out ‘driftwood’ feel thanks to grey coming in along the rear midsole.  Click through to get a better view, let us know how these rank against the other NB581 collabos and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability.  via SlamJam
