If any sneaker brand is in a position to celebrate patriotic American holidays, it’s New Balance. Not only does NB manufacture more sneakers in the US than any other brand, their other premium factories in England have both sides of the revolution covered. We missed out on the chance at what might have been the best USA-inspired designs they’ve ever done when word surfaced that Frank the Butcher’s ‘Liberty, Justice & Freedom’ 1600s got the axe, but leave it to a more familiar classic runner to take care of this job no one else could handle. The ’4th of July’ New Balance 574s might have arrived a little late at Kith, but their ever so slightly formal styles are sure to satisfy and you can see more images after the jump.

Fresh 574s come off the New Balance factory lines more than any other silhouette, so it’s appropriate that this pair carries with it the distinct feel of the season of its release. This New Balance 574 is done in a golden yellow suede and mesh combo whose walnut brown branding elements are nicely integrated by select white accents. The look is one that sports fans will be quick to associate with the Washington Redskins only to realize after the impact that they’re a bit more neutral, and thus, wardrobe friendly. Have a closer look at one of four upcoming designs in this same style after the jump below and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability. via mita sneakers

We’ve seen a bit of what New Balance has in store for early 2013 thanks to the summertime tradeshow circuit in Europe, and this latest viewing might represent most of the entire first quarter lineup. With nearly a hundred styles on display, it’s easy to see that NB’s SP13 is shaping up to be something special. In addition to the New Balance 574s we’ve seen already for Q1 come several other styles that bring the total for that model well into the double-digits, while on the other end of the spectrum, the 2040 and 1260v2 remind us that this brand still commands top billing in the performance running sector. In between, you’ll find a variety of classic silos like the 999 or 996 in the original grey suede getup that we were lucky enough to see a small run here in the States. That detail suggests that the set includes some possibly Asia-exclusive designs, so click through to see them all and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Hupu

What started off this spring as something like a fresh take on the iconic ‘Steel Blue’ 1300 made its way to the 998, then 996 and now even further back through the New Balance timeline to one of its most popular silos. The ‘Light Blue’ New Balance 574 offers a relatively muted take on that now established ’Denim Blue’ style, the ‘Elite Edition’ tongue tags on this pair of NB’s most popular model offering further evidence to support the visually apparent quality you’ll see in more photos below. Check them out in greater detail, let us know which of the ‘Blue’ New Balances has been best so far and grab yours from select retailers like Kith.

The recently wrapped Pitti tradeshow in Florence featured a bunch of previews from New Balance’s early 2013 catalog, and you could fairly convincingly construct an argument whereby, without the success of the single model pictured above, none of the others would even be available. It’s the New Balance 574 that moves units like the Nike Sportswears and adidas Originals-es of the world, that first taste that draws in casual fans before they’ve come expert in the ways of grey suede and mesh. And as NB’s most popular and approachable classic runner, the 574 has a tremendous responsibility to the brand each time they sprint out the blocks. These dope tonal colorways show that they’re ready for the challenge, and prove that come SS13, the question isn’t ‘which one’, but rather ‘Which ones?’ Click through to see six different pairs rocking the same pattern, let us know which you like best and stick with Sneaker News for US release info.
