The next Nike Air Max sneaker to get outfitted with the ‘OG’ treatment (What appears to be the replacement term for the ‘VNTG’) is the Nike Air 180. And, like the rest of the releases to trickle out with that designation this year, they will be showing up first in an original colorway. That happens here with the ‘Ultramarine’ look that brings in plenty of that blue tone along with some solar red sections. See more of the Nike Air 180 OG after the jump and watch for them at European retailers like Afew come March 20th.

An appropriate about-face to the Engineered Mesh update and Air Max 2013 nod, the Nike Air 180 OG lets us know what the original ‘Ultramarine’ color combo might look like were you to find the pair from the Italy x Industrial Light and Sound ad. With a midsole somewhere between oxidized and dusty, the beloved bright accent colors remind us how long these vibrant colorups have been the Swoosh’s signature. Stick with Sneaker News as we approach the March release date and check out some more photos below in the meantime.

Joining the ‘OG’ varieties of the classic Air Max models is the Nike Air 180 in the trademark ‘Ultramarine’ colorway. Slated for a release at Euro retailers this March, the Air 180 comes pre-treated with vintage detailing, notably the yellowed midsole and the oxide residue on the outsole. For those who rock 180s on the regular, you’d know that these shoes are rather prone to dinginess, so you probably already have your ‘OG’ in your closet, but for those looking to replenish their rotation with one of the best of all-time, your wait has been shortened. Are these a must-have for you? Let us know in the comments below.
