Cole Haan had great success adding LunarLon cushioning to a traditional chukka; you didn’t think Nike Sportswear would just sit idly without their own answer, did you? The Beaverton division responsible for putting more Lunar foam on more styles than any other puts another notch on their belt with this delicious combination of smooth suede, neon LunarLon and gum outsoles. The Nike Air Ralston Lunar Mid upgrades one of last year’s lifestyle debuts with a lightweight, comfortable and potentially neck-breaking base, and given how well these first two colorways symbolize the connection between timeless subtlety and modern trends, we can’t wait to see what else is in store. Check out more images after the jump, let us know where this Lunar-cushioned Ralston Mid ranks amongst NSW’s others and the current lifestyle sneaker market in general and stick with Sneaker News for release info. That its moniker could very well have been derived from the prominent businessman for whom the Ralson Hall Mansion is named seems fitting, the Belmont, California estate recognized for its timeless elegance as a National Historic Landmark. The Nike Air Ralston Mid is one of Nike Sportswear’s sleekest lifestyle-oriented releases to date, their blend of classic chukka styling with Nike Air cushioning, sleek modern lines and a medial gusset among the best surprises this summer. William Ralston himself would be happy with this latest colorway, a black nubuck midtop with white and orange accents that evokes the colorway made famous by the Giants who play their home games on the opposite end of the San Francisco Peninsula. Check out some more shots after the jump and look for these at NSW retailers like Extra Butter.

Among the sleekest of Nike Sportswear’s lifestyle designs over the past few years is the relatively new Nike Air Ralston Mid, a model we’ve seen so far in a ‘deconstructed’ upper that takes the slimmed-down approach to its peak. Here’s another floppy-sided Air Ralston, but this new edition differs from the initial drops by eschewing the stitching on the midfoot in favor of a sealing ‘tape’ that gives this release its name. Burgundy suede paired with orange laces is a feel good hit for the fall, so click through to see some more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates in advance of the October 8th release date. via NikeStadium

The Nike Air Ralston is the perfect combination of form and function. Not only does emanate the sleek and ‘mature’ vibe, it’s also a darn comfortable shoe, thanks to the Air cushioning and grooved outsole. It’s got that classic city shoe appeal, with the clean suede upper with perforations on the in-step, a charming mid-cut construction, and a molded heel-cup, and for the man who values style and comfort, the Ralston is a growing frontrunner in the lifestyle category. Check out the images below and look out for these at Nike Sportswear retailers like MrRSports or on eBay.
