We’re seeing that Kevin Durant is now getting a takedown model of his signature shoe, while the LeBron sub-lines are budding with the Ambassadors and such, but the OG of these Asia-exclusive non-signatures is none other than Kobe Bryant, who has been knee deep with models like the Venomenon, Dream Season, KB 24, and so forth. Welcome the Nike Black Mamba 24 to the line-up, complete with Zoom cushioning and a Hyperfuse shell that probably performs just as well as the signature models; this Blue/Green colorway isn’t much of a Kobe concept at heart, but the enlarged Shozoku logo on the heel tells us who the boss is! Looks like there’s some more Kobe-branded goodies for the overseas cats – the low-pro and stylish Nike Black Mamba 24. Continuing with the ankle-less construction, the Black Mamba 24 adds in Hyperfuse cut-outs with other features carried over from Zoom Kobe heritage like the pronounced heel-counter. Five punchy colorways are expected to hit retailers in Asia, where the Kobe fandom is far greater than it is in the States, but do you think Nike Basketball should open up a channel for these Kobe kicks to the U.S. market?
