When this whole Nike Free Huarache thing started there were plenty of pairs carrying OG colorways, a treatment that looks to continue once the Nike Air Huarache Light morphs into the Nike Free Huarache Light. Shown here is a shining example of that, a pair that was promised by catalog shots long ago sporting a black/blue/orange look that heads should remember from original run of the shoe. Click through with us to check out the Nike Free Huarache Light colorway and check them out at German retailer Inflammable now.

Older classics like the Kukini and Footscape have been revamped with the Free-soled footbed, but before you can devise an opinion on Nike Sportswear allowing ‘Free’dom to reign in a seemingly unlimited reach, it appears like another gem is gonna get the Free treatment – the Nike Air Huarache Light. This Huarache-based runner was a selective choice for early-decade collaborations with Stussy, Beams, and other notables, but let’s not forget that the Huarache Light was redone before with an Air Burst outsole. We’ve got a look at five colorways (with the beaming OG) headed for a Spring 2013 release below ($100 a pop), so check ‘em out and stay tuned for more updates on Nike Retro releases! Photos: zzazzin
