Browsing the "Nike LeBron X ‘Denim’" Tag

A little bit of light is finally shed on the release dates for the Nike LeBron X EXT pairs coming this summer. You know, the Nike LeBron X “Black/Mint”, the Nike LeBron X “Denim”, and the Nike LeBron X “Brown Suede”. After some switched around release information, it appears that we’ve finally pinned down when the sneakers will be arriving at European shops (All of which are subject to change as usual). The black/mint will be first up with its June 10th drop, followed by the denim on June 22nd, and the brown suede on July 6th. Most of those make sense except for the June 10th, which is a Monday-so we wouldn’t be surprised if that pair showed up the previous/following Saturday. The release of the Nike LeBron X EXT footwear has been postponed indefinitely, with NSW head Gentry Humphrey noting a drop date in a “couple of months”. In any case, a few pairs have been floating around on eBay, and today we get a pretty nice on-feet look of the Denim/Pink version that we hope will drop early on during the Fall 2013 season. Thus far, Nike Sportswear hasn’t missed with a colorway with the EXTs, with the Americana combo of the Denim and Brown leather being paired with a rebellious pink on the midsole and Dynamic Flywire. So a confirmed release date of April 26th for these Denim LeBrons should have sneakerheads flocking to Twitter, but in light of yesterday’s What Do You Think? discussion topic of restocks, would it be a big surprise if the Denims popped up for sale again – especially considering the Corks were restocked? Based on our poll, our readers like the idea of spontaneous restocks, because these days, being at the right place at the right time seems like the best way to cop shoes. In 2012, Nike revealed that its Basketball division would work in tandem with Sportswear to create some unique compositions of its Basketball Signature models – ones that are more tailored to street style rather than for on-court performance. We got a first taste of it with the groundbreaking release of the “Cork” in February, and as promised, the Nike LeBron X will again be revealed in NSW format in the Nike LeBron X “Denim” colorway this April 26th. The end of April is proving to be quite a heavy load for LeBron fans, with this Denim version joining both the two Elite colorways, so is this the must-have LeBron release of the month? Will a release of this titillating Nike LeBron X “Denim” ever go down? Although Nike hasn’t confirmed anything, all signs are pointing to yes at this point considering we’ve seen these randomly pop up for sale on eBay and also in the possession of some lucky ducks around the globe. Nike did, however, promise a steady infusion of Nike Sportswear concepts into their signature shoes, and what yells out that NSW flavor more than luxurious denim uppers and leather lined interiors punched by a vibrant tone of fuschia? The crossover between Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear arrived with the release of the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ that dropped at select NSW retailers a few weekends ago. It’s been just over three months since the first and last sighting, and now with the ‘Cork’ edition just around the corner, the ‘Denim’ Nike LeBron X makes another appearance. These seemed a likely candidate for exclusive status when King James liked the pair he wore in an early season trip to Atlanta so much that he Instagram’d a shot before the paparazzi gave us additional views. But with just ten days separating us from perhaps the most elegant (and expensive) Nike LeBron release to date, we know for a fact that these premium casual colorways can cause a stir with word of a retail release.
