The Nike SB Dunk Low “Shanghai” has a spiritual successor in the form of this new Nike SB Dunk Low. This time around Beijing is the metropolis referenced, with the colorway in place on these apparently nodding to the slim hutong alleys and streets that can be found there. The tongue tag furthers the Chinese flavor with a graphic of a dragon doorknocker that looks like those found on plenty a Chinese temple. The Rukus x Nike SB Dunk Low “Crawfish” is dedicated to its theme like few sneakers that we’ve seen before. Not only do the shoes have the crustacean spotted upper and the corn yellow parts, but their midsection even features a newspaper print as an allusion to that makeshift tablecloth that’s traditionally laid down before consuming the dish. Remember these are coming out on August 16th, and there will be a deluxe box set that we’re assuming is only up for grabs at Rukus. Find detailed shots for them after the break and check back in on Sneaker News for more SB Dunks of all sorts.
