Nike SB is in for a major shakeup, but before Swoosh Skateboarding forever sees some of its signatures lose those two letters that garnered so much respect over the past decade, we’re ready for another batch including plenty of old favorites. The May 2012 lineup is quite robust, including four Nike SB Dunks including Premier’s ‘Petoskey’ collabo among three Lows and a Mid, four new Zoom Stefan Janoski SBs including the 8FIVE2 collabo Quickstrike, two new Koston 1s and a single Omar Salazar LR to round out the group. Click through for a closer look at each individual pair and be on the lookout for these at SB shops like Folsom, CA’s PLA, who got theirs a bit ahead of schedule.

The highlight of Nike Skateboarding’s November 2011 releases was supposed to be the highly-anticipated ‘Entourage’ SB Dunk Low, but Nike SB fans were down-trodden at yet another delay. That doesn’t mean the November 2011 releases aren’t strong, because there are still a ton of great SBs worth adding to the rotation. We’ve got a look at nine solid releases so check ‘em out below and stick with Sneaker News for more upcoming Nike SB release information.

Sneaker News has been showing you previews of Nike SB’s fall 2011 footwear collection since this past December and conspicuous by its absence is the Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar. The first skateboarding shoe to feature Flywire is notable for its translucent heel, which reveals the Zoom Air cushioning and serves to reinforce the shoe’s spacey theme. But just as we’ve seen a couple NFW colorways come along and subtly flip the script, it’s time for a new sole on the Salazar, one that could at least in part explain the autumnal hiatus. Check out the Nike SB Omar Salazar Pro Model with a vulcanized sole. Coupled with an all-suede upper, these look considerably more like a traditional skate shoe and the toe in particular has us wondering if the P-Rod 4 will make a similar transition. Click through to see more of the Vulcanized Omar Salazar and let us know how you feel about this new version, then stick with Sneaker News for updates on this Q4 ’11 release. via N-SB
