Pharrell proved shortly after their debut that the Nike Zoom Force 1 snowboarding boot can make for an outrageous fashion choice, but even the Arbito-penned collabo version can’t hold a candle to this latest ‘pair’ in terms of sheer audacity. Jewelry designer Osamu Koyama brought his Complete Technique label to work on this insane Zoom Force 1 ‘American Eagle’ project, a golden take on the anime ‘Saint Seiya’ whose look is finished nicely by a removable opal pendant and chain. That new model, the Nike Vapen, can be seen to borrow a bit of the ‘cab-forward’ design found in Paul Rodriguez’ latest Nike SB signature, while the Zoom Kaiju‘s removable internal bootie bears more than a passing resemblance to the monster hit Nike Mag 2011 with its high cut and ankle strap. Rounding out the group is a series of new Zoom Force 1s for both men and women, and you can see the entire collection in greater detail when you click on the jump below.
