Pharrell proved shortly after their debut that the Nike Zoom Force 1 snowboarding boot can make for an outrageous fashion choice, but even the Arbito-penned collabo version can’t hold a candle to this latest ‘pair’ in terms of sheer audacity. Jewelry designer Osamu Koyama brought his Complete Technique label to work on this insane Zoom Force 1 ‘American Eagle’ project, a golden take on the anime ‘Saint Seiya’ whose look is finished nicely by a removable opal pendant and chain. These weren’t exactly made for riding the slopes, but they probably would indeed shred your wallet; would you buy a solid gold snowboard boot if this ‘American Eagle’ Zoom Force 1 were made available to the public?
