NIKE ZOOM HYPERDUNK 2011 The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 is the third sneaker in Nike's Hyperdunk lineup, a modern day performance focused version of their classic Dunk silhouette. The sneaker was a popular choice for NBA athletes during the 2011-12 season with the likes of Jeremy Lin, Blake Griffin, Pau Gasol, and more wearing them on-court.

Nike Basketball’s recent non-signature releases have proven they can master the tonal approach to colors and blocking, what about high-contrast costumes? Perhaps it’s all the blue Zoom Rookie LWPs we’ve been seeing of late, but this Photo Blue and black Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 seems to have the look of something you would have seen in the mid-late ’90s when the Orlando Magic’s uniforms and palette were so popular. The shimmering matte finish on these furthers the connection with a bit of that Dark Neon Royal Foamposite look to it, but distinct features like the unique heel counter and glass-reinforced shank plate make it obvious that we’re dealing with modern tech. Click through so you can see more angles and then pick up a pair of this Photo Blue Hyperdunk 2011 at retailers like Afew.

The locks woven into their Team Orange laces demand your attention to ‘PREMIUM INNOVATION’, but one look at the reinforced toe webbing will indicate that this is, in fact, a Supreme-level release. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme stands atop this year’s Nike Basketball non-signature lineup, a quintet of tonal-uppered designs all featuring the shielded toe along with the series well known utilization of Flywire and Zoom Air. Do you prefer this single colored style to the digi-camo joints we showed you last week? Both will be arriving at select retailers soon, so stick with Sneaker News for the US release dates and click through to see more images in the meantime. via SM

On Monday, Sneaker News showed you images of an upcoming Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme design that prominently features a tonal grey digi-camo print across its Flywire-reinforced upper. This new pair also features the tell-tale toe cage that separates the Supreme-level Hyperdunk 2011s from the rest of the pack, but that doesn’t mean that all of them are going to offer the same texture. Take for example these new pairs in black or Sport Red with silver trim: their side panels are a matte finish, which allows much more visual attention to go toward that unique forefoot reinforcement, itself offering texture even more novel than the pixelated concealment pattern. Have a closer look at these new Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supremes after the jump and look for them at select Nike Basketball retailers including Finish Line.

Stalley, the latest addition to the Maybach Music Group, was one of the live performers for this past weekend’s Sneaker Pimps DC. Clad in the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 ‘Blake Griffin’ and the minimum fifteen pieces of flair, Stalley gave the crowd some live music to bob their heads to while surfing around the sneaker-filled emporium. Stalley’s music is steadily on the rise, as one of his tracks was used for the Lamar Odom x Nike Sportswear ‘Always On’ video, and his status on Sneaker News is following suit, as his recent sighting with the Air Jordan 1 Black/Royal definitely impressed our readers. Check out the bearded hip-hopper after the jump and let us know what you think of his kicks.

Adopting the ’10.0′ theme with a cracked-pavement midsole detail, the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Blake Griffin PE captured the heritage of the high-flying Hyperdunk using an Earth-shattering concept that made it one of the best releases of the year. Blake Griffin has been appointed as the unofficial representative of this year’s Hyperdunk flagship – a spot that we must say was deservedly earned; this new PE features Blake’s Los Angeles Clippers uniform colors, combining a tonal blue upper, a white swoosh, and a red inner lining with a camo-style detailing. Add on the translucent outsole and you’ve gone 2-for-2 with Blake Griffin Hyperdunks for the year! Watch for these at select Nike Basketball retailers soon – but in the meantime, let us know which Blake Griffin Hyperdunk 2011 colorway you like better! via osneaker.

Pretty much nobody looked good against the unprecedented collection of elite basketball talent we’ve come to know as the Dream Team, but there was indeed one international squad who stood out amongst the pretenders. The Lithuanian national basketball team captured an unexpected bronze medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, and just as much attention was given to their Grateful Dead-inspired tie-dye garb. Ballers including Arvydas Sabonis wore adidas back in those days, but over the past few years, the yellow, green and red has been outfitted by Nike Basketball to the tune of some eye-catching designs like the one pictured above. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011‘Lithuania’ doesn’t have the speckling that abounded on their Air Max Hyperize from a couple years ago, but its high-contrast colorway is still among the most easily identifyable in all of sport. Click through to see some additional angles and look for these at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops specialty locations.
