PACKER SHOES Packer Shoes is a family owned sneaker store currently located in Teaneck, NJ, with previous iterations of the store extending back to 1907. While Packer carries current styles from a range of brands they are particularly well known for their frequent collaborations with Reebok, working on retro models like the Reebok Pump and Reebok Workout.

In the past few years, Packer Shoes has teamed up with Reebok for a solid stretch of collaborative efforts, and it appears that there’s more in store for 2013. The NJ shop recently posted a teaser image for their latest project, showing only a Packer branded insole sitting atop an OG pair of the cult-classic Reebok Aztec runners. Further details on this upcoming collab are on the way, so check out the teaser for now and stay tuned for pics and info coming soon.

This past Monday, the legendary Packer Shoes and New York Knicks phenom Iman Shumpert joined forces for a special release event for the adidas Top Ten 2000 ’2WO 1NE’. Limited to just 500 individual pairs, over 400 customers came through on the frigid night to cop the shoes and meet the Knicks guard in person. With live music provided by DJ Neil Armstrong, the event was a complete success, and Iman himself stayed an extra hour just to meet and greet everyone who came through to cop the shoes. This Monday, Packer Shoes will hold an event to celebrate yet another collaborative release – this one in particular commemorating the adidas Top Ten 2000 and Knicks young phenom Iman Shumpert. Coinciding with the Knicks’ annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day game against the Nets, the release of the limited-edition “TWO 1NE” will be available exclusively at Packer Shoes, with an in-store appearance by Iman Shumpert and live DJ music from the legendary DJ Neil Armstrong. That orange-d out Iman Shumpert adidas Top Ten 2000 PE that we showed you just before Christmas looks to be getting a retail release exclusively at Packer Shoes. The five hundred pair run will hit the Teaneck, NJ store on Martin Luther King Day-January 21st at 21:21 military time (9:21 pm EST). The theme as far as the numbering is concerned of course plays into Shumpert’s #21 on the Knicks (and his associated rapper handle 2WO 1NE). Tomorrow is a fairly busy day in terms of sneaker releases with the December Friday being marked with another awesome Reebok Question colorway from the team at Packer Shoes. The release sticks to the same color palette as their first go-round, utilizing a completely different blocking (even throwing in some classic tan on the bottom with the gumsole look). Said mixture is meant to represent the blood, sweat, and tears that Iverson poured into his many years in the NBA and comes to life through a full red nubuck upper as a conceptual nod to the original red toe version. Packer Shoes is closing out the year in style, squeezing in one more collab release with the likes of Reebok to celebrate the newly revived Reebok Question. They’ve again kept close to the Allen Iverson storyline, hitting the back end of the sneakers with the 7 and 6 for a bit of Philly love and wrapping the rest of the upper in the same red nubuck with some added royal accents. Full images have been revealed for your viewing pleasure, so it’s time to hit the jump and see if you’re planning to cop on release day this Friday, December 14th. Packer Shoes out in Teaneck is apparently going to sneak in yet another banger of a collab in before the year is over, with the Reebok Question getting their special touch once again. Following up on the success of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Question ‘Practice’ is what looks to be another AI inspired version with a flipped red-based version of the 76ers look. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for a full set of images of the next Packer Reebok Question coming soon, but in the meantime, you can check out the teasers and mark your calendars now that it has been confirmed that these will drop at the New Jersey spot on December 14th, 2012.

After a delay due to Hurricane Sandy, a release for the second wave of 33 His from Ewing Athletics will finally go down this Wednesday at Packer Shoes. The NJ-based store will have both pairs online (midnight release, domestic customers only) and in-store (noon), with a special ‘Love/Hate’ t-shirt release from Brooklyn-based label ‘Where Brooklyn At’. Look out for both Ewings to hit select Ewing Athletics retailers on Wednesday as well, so peep these new photos below and let us know which of the four Ewing 33 Hi releases of 2012 you like best.
