mita sneakers‘ signature chain link product wall is something most US sneakerheads have only seen on the insoles of their many collaborations. mita Creative Director Shigeyuki Kunii took the opportunity to reflect the Tokyo store’s intent with their 30th anniversary Reebok Classic Leather design. Shigeyuki notes that mita stands out because the relatively dark environment lets customers see what their shoes look like at night. mita’s CLs spin this theme into glow in the dark elements on the chambray side panels of an otherwise premium suede design. These are sold out at the home store but should see a release at Reebok Certified Network retailers shortly, so stick with Sneaker News for updates and check out more images below in the meantime.

There’s a bit of new info available on the new Solebox x Reebok Classic Leather creation. Shown here are the sneakers, which are apparently inspired by the Sturnella Militaris, an animal known more commonly as the Red-breasted Blackbird. Indeed it’s a very red and black pair, with suede and leather splitting the difference between those two colors across the upper. Solebox themselves will have just 100 pairs, which will release on May 25th for 110 euros. The Solebox x Reebok Classic Leather 30th anniversary pair will release on Friday, May 24th. And if you’re not around the greater Berlin area on that important date-don’t worry. The sneakers will also make their way to a handful of other top notch Reebok retailers, a group of stores that will henceforth be known as the Certified Network. The Reebok Classic Leather is continuing its 30th anniversary world tour with a stop at Berlin’s Solebox. The team out there, all too familiar with getting their hands dirty via Reebok team-ups, have whipped up this pair as their entry into the birthday celebration. The sneaker goes for black leather on the back end and red suede up front, a look that oughta have heads immediately remembering some of their old New Balance SMUs. The next entity to get their hands on the Reebok Classic Leather is mita sneakers out in Japan. The team’s got a long standing pedigree as far as collaborations go so you needn’t worry about them messing up this beloved Vector Brand silhouette. Indeed they do quite the opposite, outfitting it with a clean set of of suedes and just a little bit of that starry print we’ve come to associate with the Japanese spot. SneakersNStuff’s was the first in a sizeable series of collaborations celebrating the Reebok Classic Leather‘s 30th anniversary. SNS broke away from the literal CL by employing a Cordura upper, which set the stage for a variety of interpretations of this iconic casual sneaker. Here we see the vector brand do something similar with the CL LUX TXT in a couple of monochromatic colorways. In its 30th year, the Reebok Classic Leather is a casual sneaker icon. Maybe the CL is getting a little cabin fever and ready to get out for spring, though, because here comes a new colorway for the ruggedized trail-ready version. The Reebok CL Trail goes for a more utilitarian approach than many of today’s more exuberant offroad styles, combining a range of greys with black mudguard and sole, plus the tiniest hint of orange and blue. Your favorite Polish rapper (Fisz) is the latest person to team up with Reebok on a pair of the Reebok Classic Leather. Oh you don’t listen to Polish rap? Either way it’s not hard to appreciate this remixed pair of Reebok’s immortal silhouette, which puts on a couple different colorful prints for the separate sections of the sneaker. What’s more there’s an embroidered silhouette on the back end, presumably the silhouette of Fisz himself.
