We got a brief break from the Air Jordan IX ‘Kilroy Pack’ releases this past weekend, but best believe the group is far from over, with four more pairs yet to arrive. T.I. is apparently on board with the set, popping up at the airport on his way to Howard homecoming with the Air Jordan IX ‘Johnny Kilroy’ on feet. Were you paying attention to the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards this weekend? Even if you weren’t you probably caught wind of the goings on-the various backstage scuffles that had the whole thing feel like the Source Awards of old. But we’re not here to talk about that-we’re here to talk about the sneakers. And trust us there’s plenty to talk about in that department: Wale in the Nike Air Max Hyperposite ‘Tiger Camo’, Fat Joe busting out the ‘Olive’ Air Jordan V, 2 Chainz keeping things G.O.O.D. with the Nike Air Yeezy 2 and much more. Championship or not, Miami is always a party hot-spot. A number celebrities gathered in Miami for the Radio One Festival, which drew a notable celebrity crowd (like Gabrielle Union and Savannah Brinson, the ‘other halves’ of the Heat’s big duo) as well as some big-ticket performers like T.I., who took the stage in some sick Nike Air 180 iDs, and Fat Joe, who showed off his Air Jordan VI ‘Golden Moment’ (not long after he flaunted them last week on Twitter). A plethora of celebrities as well as friends and family of T.I. gathered for a behind-the-scenes look at the T.I.’s new music video for ‘This Time Of Night’. A nice collection of sneakers were spotted during this gathering, notable T.I.’s Nike LeBron 9 ‘Swingman‘ and Nelly’s Air Jordan XIV ‘White/Red’. With three of its signature athletes making up 30% of the 2012 NBA All-Star starters, Jordan Brand already had major presence during the fun-filled weekend. Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade all made their presence felt by making appearances in front of thousands of fans at Footaction for special in-store events hosted by DJ Khaled and Jadakiss, while participating in the Air Jordan 2012 ‘Flight Lab’, which featured a sick installation as well as an outdoor hooping area. A ton of celebrities also showed up in Orlando wearing some Air Jordans, like Jadakiss, who wore the Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’, J Cole, spotted in the Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’, DJ Khaled, wearing the Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Knicks’ in Blue, Wale, hooping in the Air Jordan 2012 ‘Wolf Grey’, and T.I., who rocked the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’. Hip-hop artist T.I.and wife Tiny were spotted leaving Miami’s Prime Italian restaurant after a meal wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ – likely from the CDP pack of 2008. Matching his kicks was an Atlanta Falcons snapback (gotta rep for the home squad). and a simple grey Nike Sportswear sweat-suit. T.I.’s become somewhat of a familiar face in our Celebrity Feet segments, popping up from time to time wearing some great Air Jordans, like when we wore the Concords nearly two months before release date during a Halloween Party. Dressing up in costumes and getting free candy is a dream for children, but for adults, having one day out of the year when you can act like children while getting away with shenanigans is something we all cherish. Or, if you’re not the costume type, it’s just another excuse to throw down a few extra drinks. ATL-based hip-hop artist T.I. attended the Nightmare on Piedmont Halloween Party at the Gold Room in Atlanta dressed as former Falcons QB Mike Vick. T.I. matched the Eagles’ alternate jersey with a pair of the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’. How sick would Mike Vick Air Jordan PEs be? Now that Vick is back with Nike, that scenario is unlikely. ATL-based hip-hop artist T.I. was the guest of honor at a special event in Los Angeles, hosted by the AKOO clothing label and Ciroc. T.I. arrived at the event representing his Southern city pride, rocking an Atlanta Braves fitted cap, closely matching it with a crisp pair of the Air Jordan III Retro in the White/Cement Grey colorway. If you’re a child of the 2000′s hip-hop, chances are you know one of his club hits by heart, but rest assured that he’s still on his game because he was nominated for not one, but two Grammy awards last year.
