Europe’s all abuzz with collabo projects that you can only find in the Old World, and here comes a super limited drop for the far east.
Leftfoot Taiwan/owner Jahan Loh’s collaboration with Vans Vault marks their first hookup with a Chinese company. The black patent leather upper finds friends in the white laces and sole and the purple tongue tag and sole-toe. Add the dragon-inspired embossing and we have a pair that applies symbols of Chinese royalty to a slimmer cut version of one of the kings of skate.
Only 200 pairs are set to be released at Leftfoot stores in Hong Kong and Taipei (although Hypebeast didn’t know when), with the first 50 people in line receiving a complimentary t-shirt featuring the short “story” behind the shoe.
