We’ve been steadily keeping you posted on Nike’s upcoming East vs. West collection, in which some lucky sneakerhead VIP’s have been given the opportunity to rep their coast by designing their own Dunks. By now, you’ve probably seen our previews of the Gucci-inspired ostrich leather Dunk High Supreme Spark East designed by DJ Clark Kent and the crazy blue scales of the Dunk High Supreme Spark West by Eddie Cruz. Just to clear up any confusion, reports that Clark Kent helped to design the Dunk West shoe are false. According to Clark himself, he only designed the East version and Eddie Cruz designed the West, with no collaboration between the two taking place. Both Dunks have recently gotten some serious attention and we have decided to help kick off this East vs. West grudge match by asking you who came up with the hotter design. Try to put aside your regional pride and give us some honest feedback on which one you’re feeling more. You can see a bunch of detailed images of both after the jump to help you make your decision. i’m from the west, but the east is better. it’s not that great, but better than the west. and why do these look like they’ve been worn a bunch of times already?

neither one are really that great. but East definitely wins this one. red and blue just don’t go together at all.

West obviously looks cool but it only looks good cuz it is an exact copy of the gucci colorway of the dunk high sbs.

You have to give it too the east…the fish scales seem very unnessacary on the west joints….Although the gucci’s have been done, the premium leather and gum bottom make them a most cop.

they both suck lol judging from Clark Kents past designs, he could have done a whole lot better. I dont know what Eddie Cruz is about, but yeah bad job.

THE EAST DUNKS…My Boy Eddie @ 5 Strikes-UNDFTD came up short on this one. You can’t go wrong with Gucci colorways and the classic GUM SOLES really lit the fire, KEEP DA HEAT DJCK….Good Job!!
