We gave you a peek at this upcoming Nike SB Dunk release last week, but at the time, the inspiration behind the shoe had still not been revealed. Now it appears that these kicks have been created to pay tribute to Will Ferrell’s beloved character from the 2004 comedy, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. The Red suede upper is a nod to Burgundy’s name and his sweet newsman anchor suit. The pattern that appears on the tongue and around the ankle could perhaps be based on the lining that might be found inside a funky 70′s suit. Additional accents are provided by a White midsole and toe box and some splashes of Gold and Tan. These are expected to hit Nike SB accounts in August, but you can already get a pair from LTD. Stay classy San Diego.
Color: Team Red/Metallic Gold
