Here it is! The photos almost all sneakerheads have been waiting for and our friends at Marquee Sole has the first detailed photos of the shoes since our previous preview of the Air Jordan VI – Black Infrared back in June. During the 1990-1991 NBA season, at the time of their release, Nike was pulling away from their competitors at a startling rate and so was Michael Jordan. These shoes were on his feet as he won his first NBA Championship and his second league MVP. For those who lived through that period, these shoes are definitely something special, this is the first time Jordan Brand has retroed them since 2000. For the new and old Air Jordan heads, you’ll have a chance to grab these come January 2010. Do these photos of the Air Jordan VI Black/Infrared Retro meet your expectations?

I don’t think MJ won his first ship in the 8s, sorry dude, you’re wrong! Any Jordan fan can tell you MJ won it in the 6s, just look for it on youtube or something.
As for these, I didn’t know they were going to be suede, and not leather or nubuck. As I expected, no NIKE AIR on the back, but I am not surprised about that. Marqueesole is trippin’ selling these for 3 bills. I can wait till Jan 2010 and cop 2 pairs if I can. They are NICE though. Great pics…!

You know you sneaker freaks are simply idiots. True story, before these dropped back in 2000, pics came out showing these in a makeup that was not at all retro and everyone cried about it. Now, those same joints are some of the most wanted sample jordans ever, and they look good!!!! If you ask me they should have been varsity red from jump in 1990, but they used infared and they still looked good. Why keep it the exact same? Then you’ll have people with the OG or 2000 retro crying about their pair not being worth anything anymore. They change it up to seperate them from what they used to be. BUt anyone that tells me these still aint hard are just hypebeasts with nothing better to do. Anyway, if you look at Jumpman23.com you’ll see that these are the VI’s featured in the pictures. Trust me these will be copped 2x and in 2018 these will be selling for the same resale as the 2000′s. Smarten up chumps!!

I was too embarresed to throw them away so their sitting under my bed now and they look exactly like these except the jordan sign on the back is red. Didn’t sneakernews have an article not too long ago about the 2010 releases….says there is gonna be a general release of Blk/Varsity Red VI’s AND a Limited Quickstrike release of the infrareds. Search the articles, it should be there somewhere, I know it. I guess these are the GR and the infrareds will come later
