The “Griptape” Dunk Mid was one of the best releases to come out of Nike SB in recent seasons. Clean and effective colorway, nice choice of material application, and for once, a design that’s actually relevant to skateboarding! The skate division wants to duplicate that result by dropping this alternative version of the Griptapes. This slightly modified version of the Dunk Mid features suede and griptape-like material, but now throws some red into the mix. If you prefer something closer to its predecessor, the red laces can simply be replaced by the secondary white pair. Available now at Nike SB retailers like Premier.
*For those knocking their heads in regret for not copping the original version of the Griptapes, there will be a re-release this upcoming summer*

i understand your a complaining about rereleasing grip tapes because your a sneaker head. But to a skater who goes though sneakers like in a couple months .I think thats why they keep rereleasing grip tapes.

Funny, when the Grips first released the first thing i threw on were some red wide laces…and now they have the re-release of the Grips coming with red laces…i don’t get it…lolol…

Nike SB will continually re-release a simple black colorway of most models. they have been doing this with the venoms, the grip tapes and black and white blazers. Nike does this for REAL skaters that have favorite models and want a simple colorway.
