In a year that saw a marked improvement in how sneakers were packaged (especially collaborations), this latest effort from adidas might be undervalued. Then again, it probably depends on who you ask about the Star Wars x adidas ZX 8000 Darth Vader Edition. True Star Wars geeks will be pumped to be add the kicks to their collection of blister-packed action figures, but we wonder if other sneakerheads will sleep on these since they already got awesome toy packaging earlier this year that was even closer to the original. Don’t make the mistake of missing out on these subtly-detailed kicks of doom. They’re available now from Italian retailer Superfly Deluxe.

Fake Ass Wanna be NIKE Transformers and NIKE GI JOE Packaging…Shame on you Adidas for biting off NIKE Movie Packaging ideas…SMH, Whatever happened to being original???

thesse are gonna make some middle aged Star Wars collector a very happy recluse…..

Actually, the Bape/Marvel packaging came way before the Nike/G.I.Joe, Nike/Transformer packagaing. I believe that the first Adidas/Star Wars Superstars came out prior to the Nike series and were also packaged this way. So, even though the Nike packaginf is probably the best, Adidas is not biting Nike

Seth is right…when it comes to Bape having that packaging first. i don’t pay too much attention to adidas to know if they did it before nike tho, but i would pass on these tho

some of the details on here are pretty cool, but when you pull back and take the whole shoe into account, it still looks ugly. the darth vader superstars are better. simple and clean…
