Just a couple of hours ago, Sneaker News showed you a video previewing the February 2010 Black History Month Nike Air Force 1 on the NBA on TNT program that originally aired yesterday night. We spread the good news by letting you know these will in fact be available for purchase, so this special pair of the Nike Air Force 1 marks a double milestone – one for Black History Month 2010 , and the other as the first BHM AF1 to ever release to the public.
The colourway is very similar to the 2009 Black History Month Nike Air Force 1, utilizing a powerful combination of black, red and green. The overall design of the shoe features an inspirational quote that reads ”The definition of a renaissance individual: one who possesses a multitude of skills, talent and a broad base of knowledge“. A special Black History Month tongue label, patent leather swoosh, and a tri-color midsole with red on the bottom, green on the upper rim, and black on the center sum up the design of these Air Force 1s. These will be available beginning February 18th at select Nike Sportswear retailers, so keep reading after the jump for more pics and release info.

Pretty damn nice. If I’m not mistaken, the last couple of years it’s been hard to get a pair of the Black History Month AF1s. I’m definitely going to try and get a pair of these though.
