The World Basketball Festival is right around the corner, and one of the marquee brands sponsoring the momentous event is Converse, the iconic brand that paved the way to the current state of performance basketball footwear. Converse was purchased by Nike a few years back but for Nike to openly market its sibling is quiet rare; in fact, the partnership has resulted in Converse reintroducing itself as a vintage breeze in the modernized culture of basketball, and the Converse Star Player you see here will be one of the shoes in the World Basketball Spotlight. The Star Player was a focal point during the Converse Fall 2010 Basketball Footwear Showcase and you can now check out these extra detailed shots after the jump. via Nike Basketball.
