Sneaker News previewed the upcoming releases of the Jean-Michel Basquiat x Reebok capsule, and available now is the Reebok Pump Omni Lite of that package. Coming in a black and white colorway with a complete graffiti’ed upper bordering on vandalism, Basquiat features his artwork on the upper as well as adding his own touches to the Reebok branding. The Reebok Pump Dual Pump Runner, Top Down, Ree Down, and other great Reebok lifestyle/classic joints are set to drop as part of this collab so check out the images of the Omni Lite and stick with Sneaker News for more release info on the rest of the pack. Don't think dude would be too happy with his name and art on some random pair of shoes. Notice how they had to put his name on the pump so most people would know what the art was or why it is cool. True Basquait fans would know it without the name.

i dig em'. I personally look at the name on the pump as a sort of signature or respect for the shoe not necessarily for consumers to identify the artwork as Basquiat. I dont no if homie would appreciate Reebok doin it but I appreciate the shoe.

Can we please get the Shaqnosis retro! At one point Reebok was at the in the runnings of actually competing with Nike, how your probably asking by releasing credible well design sneakers. I think its time for Reebok to retro some of the classic reebok basketball sneakers besides the pumps that put them on the map.
