Two weeks ago Sneaker News gave you a heads up on an available pre-order for the Cool Grey XI from Asian retailer VMVINC. Here we have a look at part of the packaging set for the Cool Greys; you’ll see the solid plastic shoe-trees that were used for the Air Jordan XI Space Jam but in a grey color, which could point to a possible special packaging for the Cool Grey XI similar to its Space Jam brother. Should we expect another slide-out box with a plastic lid – but with a ‘cool’ theme? A pre-order is still available so get yours reserved if you’d like but give us your ideas on what the consumers could expect in terms of special packaging for the Cool Greys.

Gotta have these and then see what LRG or Stussy shirts I can get to go with them, hopefully other kids at my school won't dis them because then I'll have to never wear them again and what a waste of money that would be, but it's cool, my dad gives me money for whatever as a way to make up for ignoring me all the time. it would be extra hot if Kaws would draw a couple of X's on these, ok, now i have to go find a picture of the tiffany dunks and rub my peepee-

$175 price tag because of that stupid packaging why can't these be $150 and come in the regular jordan box like the anniversary 11's.

the patent leather is cut way lower then the og's. the shoes are not as high as the og's. the toebox is more narrow since 2001 and the materials used arent as good as they used to be. Ohh yea and they cost more. Think i got everything

I like these but I would be way more hyped for the concord colorway or even a new colorway. I was just expecting something alot more special for the big holiday release!

funny how everyone complains about the quality but still go out and cop whatever they're bagging on.
and ya i'll take a $150 price tag in a regular box rather than $175 and the special packaging. i'm not wearing the boxes when i go out, i'm wearing the shoes. since when did fancy cardboard and a little more plastic cost $25

I'm almost certain, say 99.23% certain that other 11's are coming soon after the cool grey.
Remember previous release examples.
Example 1: Jordan VI came out with red, then some months later, they release infrared and made everybody double dip.
Example 2: Jordan XI anniversary came out (without a jumpman) – then days later, they release some limited ones with the jumpman, making people double dip again.
Example 3: Jordan VII double pack, moves slow, but stock is almost depleted and what comes next…? Latest news shows two additional (arguably even doper) colorways with the Cardinal and the Bordeaux. In this case, making people QUADRUPLE Dip! haha.
For other examples, you can also look at the 1's (along with Alphas) and the 9's as a reference for market flooding with a variety of colorways.
I suppose the argument can still be made that the 11's are the untouchables.
That Jordan Brand would never flood the market with a variety of colorways or other variations.
I say we just haven't seen it…YET. I think the cool grey 11's are a precursor to both new and classic colorways coming back out. There might even be hybrids (not talking about fusions) that incorporate the sole of the 11 on newer shoe bodies – just like they're doing now with the beloved 3 and 1.

Hey shut the F up about sweat shops. Nike is the best JOB period in many of the places. i have been to five factories (china, Tapei, Vietnam) and they are amazing and the workers love it. because it is Nike, they have had to step up their game and make them pretty dam* good. yeah, they work hard but it is not America where we want to do nothing. that's true but I have a feeling that the concords r droppin on december 2011, it might not be true it is just a thought. It would be predictible though because the space jams came out last december and the cool greys r coming out on this one so I just think JB would do the same for the concords and the breds, IMO.

Man, looks like a lot of you folk are opinionated! hahaha I'ma do what I did for the Space Jam drop last Xmas, just cop 4 pairs (sz 10, 11, 2 x 12, thank goodness for employee dsct!!!), gift the small sizes for Xmas, rock one 12, ice one 12, get the XIII's, wait on the True Blue III's and retire my shoe game (I hope)
