Sneaker News showed you the special colorways of Roger Federer’s Nike Lunar Vapor Tour as well as Air Max TR1+ Low. Here’s a special pair of Rafael Nadal’s Nike Air Max Courtballistec 2.2 in a very tennis’d out upper construction; featuring a fuzzy ‘tennis ball’ upper, these bright green shoes were displayed in Flushing, NY at the U.S. Open promenade with the ‘angry tennis-ball’ Nike t-shirt from the Nike Tennis line. These were  released only at the Nike Pop-up shop location for $40 per shoe (not pair) and at size 15 only. Quite a bargain considering Nadal just won the U.S. Open, will resale values go up? The Courtballistec 2.2 is certainly a more accurate show to feature the Tennis-ball upper than, say, a NFW Hypermax, so take a look at this special shoe – signed by Serena Williams – after the jump and chime in with your thoughts. Thanks to Rob Heppler for the photos.
