The 90′s were all about Air Jordans but another shoe that shares an equal amount of historic significance is the other AIR shoe – the Nike Air More Uptempo. With the oversized graffiti-like A-I-R upper, the design of Air More Uptempo and the full-length Air is hard to forget, and there’s no doubt these will be easily recognized by anyone who considered themselves a fan of 90′s basketball. This December, we’ll get another shot at copping a fresh pair of the Air More Uptempo in the original black/white colorway as it hits retail stores with a $160 price-tag, so take another look at Scottie Pippen’s classics after the jump and let us know if you’ll make room for these on your Christmas list.

I still got the black/anthricite (grey) uptempos on ice at the crib. Might have to let hem out the cage again…

I loved these kicks and will proly grab a pair for sure. I just think that all these release that Nike and Jordan Brand have cooking up are good for the younger crowd because there are some real classics coming back that changed the game and rightfully so they shoud be able to know how it was to have them. But for the older heads who were around to see different styles og, Retro, and now Re-Retroed its a little disappointing. Almost like WOW nothing else left for me to buy after 2011 Nike/JB. Thanks for the memories. Lol.

i loved these joints growing up, prolly made me into the sneakerhead i am today, but 160?! thats crazy OD. when they first dropped back in the day they were like 80, then 120 a few years ago(which ended up on hash walls for 35-50 someplaces), and now 160. thats rape. for all that ima go vintage hunting. cause if ima get raped, im get what i really want
