Over the summer, a buzzing topic on Sneaker News was the design of the next Nike Kobe shoe, the Zoom Kobe VI. Images of two colorways of an unidentifiable but certifiably ‘Kobe’ sneaker surfaced, which led many to believe that the Kobe VI was revealed – although some were skeptical due to the lack of flair in the design. Of course, those samples were not in fact the Kobe VI, but instead, the third design of the Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Season line, an Asia-exclusive collection of Nike Kobe sneakers with a lower pricepoint. It features many similarities as the Zoom Kobe VI, like the snake-skin print on the upper, pronounced heel-cup, ‘VENOMENON’ on the midsole, but based on these new images, Flywire has been left out. The Zoom Kobe Dream Season II featured an obvious Flywire panel but for the Dream Season III, a synthetic leather upper is used – but perhaps there are some inner workings of the shoe that are not visible to the naked eye. Check out these new images of the Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Season III and let us know what you think of the design. via taobao.
