The Nike Air 180 finds its place in the Nike Sportswear catalog as something of a cult favorite. There aren’t too terribly many new Air 180s being released these days, so discerning heads will find this new pair even tantalizing-er. They start with a perforated black leather base and add tonal ripstop nylon whose ‘grid’ gives an interesting contrast to the similarly squared-off perf pattern. And so it’s all about geometry in the dark until you add just a hint of South Beach flavor with bright hits on the tongue, heel and signature Air unit that also happens to be about a degree away from the OG Ultramarine colorway.
