Earlier today Sneaker News showed you a teaser of the Air Jordan III ‘Black History Month’, which revealed a black/gold colorway. Here’s a complete look at the upcoming shoe thanks to The Closet Collecter, which features a tonal black upper and a special Black History Month graphic replacing the elephant print on the toe and heel. Embedded in the special graphic is ‘1987’, which is an additional call-out to the original year of the Air Jordan III, and a hand-symbol of the number 3. As mentioned previously, the Black/Gold colorway is comparable to the Defining Moments Package release of 2006, as the branding on the tongue and heel as well as on the lace eyelets on the upper feature a lustrous gold color. These are set to release as a Quickstrike in February, so continue reading for additional images and stick with Sneaker News for more information. via MN.
