Converse is perhaps the most ‘All-American’ of all sneaker brands, but for their latest collaobration, the One Star hooked up with a British company who’s been keeping the rainy island dry for over a century and a half. The Mackintosh for Converse Jack Purcell ‘Johnny’ utilizes Mackintosh rubberized cotton on three elegant if simple lowtop colorways that each match a run of co-branded jackets. Navy blue, putty grey and olive green editions will hit select Converse First String retailers on April 22nd in the UK with a US release to follow at Union in LA on May 1st. Click through to have a better look and let us know how these compare to some of the other premium Converse releases we’ve seen of late.
