Last August, Sneaker News first showed you a sample pair of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’, which featured a black leather ‘X’ stitched over the Jumpman logo on the heel, Jordan Wings logo, and the tongue. Recently, another updated look at this playful edition of the Air Jordan 1 featured a red ‘X’ painted over the heel logo, and these new detailed images shed a bit more light on how far Jordan Brand wants to take this unique idea. First and foremost, the tongue features ‘Nike Air’ instead of the Jumpman logo, the Wings logo remains unscathed. The inner insole features that ‘Banned’ graphic and text, and the inner lining is decorated with tiny ‘X’ marks. No word on a release just yet, but take a look at these new detailed images and let us know what you think of the ‘Banned’ concept. via JordansDaily.
