Given that he played during his peak for the Seattle Mariners, it’s fitting that Ken Griffey Jr.’s Nike Training signature line is filled with watery shades like Freshwater and Chlorine Blue. But this latest release might call to mind the thousands of flash bulbs going off each time Junior lofted a home run over the Kingdome’s outfield wall, the Nike Air Griffey Max II in white and black, accented by Photo Blue. These pick up where the OG Blue Spark joints left off, and their July 9th release is sure to be one of the summer’s hits. oh man!! too many good shoes coming out this year!!! NIKE and JB are really goin at it this year!!! i really wish the griffey 1's would come out in this colorway…the only way im coppin these is if i cant get my hands on the quai 54's but then i might get the olympic CW retro V's…i dunno what ta do!!! im only coppin one pair of shoes a month tho…so its tough
