It’s been quite a day for Sneaker News and the Air Jordan. We’ve already confirmed and showed you a sample of the Air Jordan X Chicago, brought you a look at a nubuck sample of the Air Jordan III Black/Cement, and confirmed the Air Jordan IV as the next Doernbecher Freestyle Air Jordan shoe. To cap off an exciting day, here’s a look at a sample of the Air Jordan IV in the White/Cement colorway, slated for an early 2012 release. This sample version features grey speckling on the midsole instead of the original black seen in the ’89 original and ’99 Retro. Sources say that the release version will also featured the black speckling, but it’s interesting to see these in another light, is it not? Altered versions of shoes like these and the nubuck III's are cool to have just cuz there rare and different but they shud never pass the sample stage.

No its not fucking interesting it all, its awfulk, a disgrace to these beauties, i have a pair from 99s and to see this makes me sick. Nubuck 3s and this type of cement print have all been seen at my local gas station sold by "billy kickz" (dead serious)
he also has some pink and orange jordan 11s for sale, are you gonna make that next JB??!!

Well, yes, but if JB were to put better quality on J's (Retros) that would mean people would play ball in 'em; not for casual wear. I mean, do you expect me to believe that people would play basketball in some brand new FRE$H AJ's, when they're afraid of creases, scuffing 'em up, getting 'em dirty, etc?

Honestly this is just a "Sample" as the description says so there's no reason for everyone to react as they are. AND, Im sure even if JB did release these. We would still copp them just because it's a classic shoe. But i pray they don't come out like this.

Anybody notice the grey outsole underneath the black? Speckles are one thing – just a shading issue, but that's a completely different colored bottom.

Lol gentry is a dirt bag. If he liked 4's so much he wouldn't have made them the worst made retro in the line up. All the 4 retros after the oreo's and the 99 cements have been cardboard crap with an even worse shape. Military blue's=terrible pleather and shit shape. Mars=same shit. And retroing shoes year after year is not a bad thing at all. Keeps supply high and scares away resellers. Plus if you have to wait 10+ years all giddy like omg they are releasing again and end up getting a peice of shit then that really sucks. Adidas makes the stan smiths and superstars every year as does nike with af1's and dunks and they still "have meaning" what ever the fuck that means. A shoe with "meaning" no shit its meant to be on your foot.
