If any of you can remember when Michael Jordan first hosted Saturday Night Live back in September of 1991, you’d know that Bill Swerski and his Superfriends displayed a level of sports-centric clairvoyance. Bill and his pals noted that Michael would win at least eight straight NBA Championships, and had Michael not retired in 1993 as well as in 1998, they most certainly would have been correct. Sadly, Michael won just a mere six NBA Championships, but it certainly would have been a tough task for the Jordan Brand creative team to design a Jordan 8 Rings, wouldn’t it?
