Nike SB Dunk High ‘Tauntaun’

The whole Star Wars motif isn’t strictly an adidas thing. Arguably the greatest fictional saga in movie history has been emphatically used to inspire a number of apparel and footwear, like the entire Star Wars x adidas Originals collection and the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Jedi’ from years ago. For this November 2011, the Tauntaun – a fictional land beast that roamed the planet of Hoth – will be the focus of a Nike SB Dunk High; designed by Nike SB Product Line Manager Shawn Bavaretto, the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Tauntaun’ features a two-toned blue/grey upper colorway with textured materials. Again, these are slated for a November 2011 release, so check out a picture of the Tauntaun below to draw your own connections between beast and sneaker, and let us know what you think. via N-SB.
Baravetto is fucking HORRIBLE. They need to fire that dude EARLY. I'm a Star Wars fan since it came out and this piece of shit looks NOTHING like a Tauntaun and is a disgrace to SW fans everywhere! I hope SB sends this dude packin!

I honestly dont care man, yesterday I wore a pair of high top chucks, they reminded me why I love Nike in general, there some comfortable shoes. Man these are nice, especially for those Star Wars fans out there.

once again yet another whack design from shawn, pass...he really needs to stop designing for Nike SB....died in 06, too many whack cws, too many shoes per year in general, quality sucks, comfort sucks, the look of the dunk, now, looks horrible......garbage, it's a shame the lord quas samples are "the samples" for these, even though imo that was just said to create hype for what would have been another slept on cw....they don't look alike at all.....SBs is out of ideas
