Get ready for a Summer blockbuster in 2012 – Jordan Brand’s got something new for ya. Jordan Brand will release the Jordan Son Of Mars, which combines primary elements from the Air Jordan III, V, VI, and XX, in a number of colorways. We’ve already seen a ‘Bred’ version as well as a White/Cement colorway, but here’s a look at a new ‘Club Purple’ version that resembles the ‘Grape’ due to the purple outsole. The success of multi-Air Jordan hybrids like the Air Jordan Spiz’ike and Jordan Six Rings has sprouted an all-new design concept of Air Jordans, but there have been a few ‘misses’ like the Rare Air and 6-17-23. the elephant print needs to be fnckin consistent on both ends, that piece of sh!t velcro flap needs to be fnckin removed, and there needs to be better colorways than just having it all one color at the top and a lonely different color in the midsole, they need to be more creative like a black cement but with a fire red/black/cement colorway throughout the shoe combined and not tjust separate the colors on either side of the shoe, so since it has that ugly flap its definitely a deal breaker ill get them when theyre put on sale for low purchases phahahaha
These shoes are nice enough to wear in the winter when you don't wanna fuck up your real heat.

I don't really like fusions at all, but the bottom part is pretty dope. The 6 top ruins it for me tho...
I think the dude who said thats the OG 6 material is right. Not feelin the icy soles on the BReds, the "Grapes" however are DOPE.
III, V, VI, XX, what else does anyone see mashed up into these? Kind of look bootleg to me though.
They are alright. I would not buy them for retail though! I'll wait when they hit the outlets :D
these actually aren't bad..these don't scream 2012 heat but they are definitely some nice shoes to chill and/or run errands in.
I run errands in real jays or real anything. Matta fact I hope everybody cop dese so it make me look dat much betta. Only people buying des r young or rookies either way not fly.

it seems like everyone has something to say when JB does hybrids. But when Nike does a hybrid ie 1/2 Cents or Zoom Rookie's everyone loves them and goes ape shit. trust me 1/2 cents and zoom rookies are straight DOPE but Just let the shoe be what it is. JB can not continue to be a $Billion company if all they did was retros. that would sacrifice the integrity of the brand and ruin the identity of what the company started from in the first place. but all feedback is good feedback somewhere down the line IMO.
Sorry man, but if all Jordan did was release Retro's they would be rolling in money. How many people would like the Grape 5's Retro'ed or Laney's for that matter, or The City Series of the 10's? Heck i'd even be cool if they released some more 4's like the Oreo 4's, pure classics instead of all these hybrids would go off the shoe racks in a minute. Jordan Brand didn't build there identity on Hybrids so why are they making 13 lines of hybrids and not releasing some key retro's that people clearly want? Just Sayin'
if all they did was release retros, they would get old. They would no longer be classics, everyone would have the 'grape 5's'. Would not rake in money because their would be way too many versions of the shoe out...... Just Sayin' Dumb ass.....
smart business man. If they released the laneys, grapes, all city pack 10's, oreo 4's in a span of 4 months next year then whats next? Retros would get even more over done then what they already are. I remember when it was like 3 retros a year. Every release, lines were formed out the door and instant sell outs. I couldnt tell you the last time i remember a quick sell out. The last sell out had to of been the cool greys and thats not even a guaranteed fact in some cases.
The purple ones look way better.I think these are kinda of better then the six rings.But im sick of seeing that elephant print shit and everybody should stop putting down the rare airs,they were sweet but the sole was just too much goin on.btw son of mars club purple im copping fasho.
I think they look pretty koo... if u got swagg u kan make any shoe look good... especially jordans...and plus judge a shoe in person not on a the internet

Theyre actually OK, i would have to see them in person. I used to love spizikes, but like they always do.......overkill on the colorways. Wayyyyyy to many releases. They lost their excusivity. When the spizikes first came out they were almost impossible to get and they were actually different. Now with all the hybrids and too many colorways, Its like blah blah blah. They seriously need to cut down on all the mediocre releases.
Cant they shell out some loot and get a real designer to design a new JB sneaker from the ground up, yeah wade's shoe was ok but all these team shoes and combos and fusions would not have flied back in the rookie card days of the OG J's. get some new ideas instead of ruining what the old ones stood for.
