Nike Zoom KD IV – Officially Unveiled
Kevin Durant’s got all the tools that make up a championship level player. Maturity beyond his years, a merciless offensive arsenal, and well-polished all-around game – the list just goes on. Don’t be alarmed at the fact that the Durant emerged as the best in his draft class and, in just three seasons, the best scorer in the entire NBA and perhaps the world. Nike’s radar for sensing greatness has never failed, and since 2008, the former Texas Longhorn only furthers that flawless streak of successful athletes; together, Nike Basketball and Kevin Durant present the Nike Zoom KD IV – the fourth overall chapter of the Nike Zoom KD legacy.
Sporting a new cross-mid-foot strap with a lightweight upper and the new Adaptive Fit system, the Zoom KD IV is a natural extension of Durant’s game – smooth, seamless, and ready to throw down at any moment. More importantly, the shoe is engineered specifically to adjust to multiple positions on the court. You’ve already seen a healthy previewing of the shoe here on Sneaker News, with special attention going to some of the more high-energy colorways like the ‘Nerf’ and ‘Year of the Dragon’, but kicks things off the right way with the Zoom KD IV when it officially launches on December 3rd, 2011 at a welcoming price-tag of $95. We’ve got more of the Nike Zoom KD IV after the jump, so take a look at all the details and stick with Sneaker News for more updates and info.
Take a moist towell and wipe them down after every game, also if they get too dirty take a baby wipe and give them a good scnbrbiug
I liked the samples better they had more photo blue toward the front and the lacing system was WAY different. They switched back to the traditional lacing. Also the number on the tounge is not orange anymore. These still look great and will be copped but it always seems like the sample or early versions have more color. I think they always end up having to dumb down the shoe to keep it under $100
GOOD RIDDANCE!!! THEY CHANGE THE HEEL OF THE SHOE... COZ THE EXTRA RUBBER ON THE HEEL MAE THE KD3s SO HARD ON THE HEEL DURING IMPACT FROM JUMPING OFF THE REBOUND...
I like em better than the threes but I liked on the threes of how they put little details into the show like the lightning bolts piano keys and the buttons
I like the styling and the price. I wish Nike would stop price gouging on the Lebrons every year going up and up and up. By the time you know it they will be $300 retail
i agree, i believe i read somewhere that KD is involved with the pricing of his shoes. keeping them roughly under $100 bc of his background and history. regardless, MUCH RESPECT, SALUTE!
These have a great profile, design and shape. They look like they'll be an amazing shoe to wear on the court and off!
