After this past weekend’s release of the Air Jordan III ‘Black Flip’, it seems like Jordan Brand has exhausted all of its AJ3 resources for 2011. But the celebration of the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan III doesn’t stop until January 1st, 2012, so here’s some more AJ3 love for ya – an unreleased ‘College Grey’ sample colorway. It’s got a tonal colorway of the light grey tone from the slightest of details (lace eyelets) to the most obvious of features (elephant print has been completely removed). Whether these were intended for a release or were created as a look-see mold of this year’s AJ3 releases isn’t quite clear, but it’s always interesting to see this gorgeous model in a different light. Check out the extra images below and let us know what you think about this funky sample! via air_andy.
I would not consider myself a huge fanatic of the jordan 3, but it makes the shoe a whole lot cleaner without the elephant print. This might upset the 3 purists, but I will step out of tradition on this one. Now, if it was all white or all black with tumbled leather, then they would be even nicer.
