The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘What The Dunk’ of 2007 was the perfect representation of the Nike SB Dunk craze that took over the first half of the last decade, depicting the most sought-after SB Dunks up until that point. You name it – it’s got it on there. Sneaker customizer Mache recently re-did the What The Dunk theme, choosing his own favorite SB Dunks and re-arranging them for a completely new look, and right off the bad you can tell that this is probably one of the best customs sneakers we’ve ever seen on Sneaker News. Starting with the ‘Pushead’ on the toe-box (above), Mache traveled around the shoe, leaving behind imagery of some of the most classic SB releases, like the ‘DOOM’ logo on the left shoe, the UNKLE artwork on the toe-box, and even the floral-like print from the Linoleum Mids. We’ve got some great detailed shots for you below so take a good look and let us know if you’d cop these if Nike SB released ‘em! via paintorthread.
sorry had to comment again... looked at these again and they actually could be the sickest fucking dunks ever. i like them BETTER than the What the Dunks. and you wouldn't wear them because youre a fool!
I am not an SB man, and its funny, i was actually looking at a pair of those WTD dunks on Ebay yesterday... never seen em before, but had heard of em. And i was thinking how UGLY they were. I get and appreciate the theme, but gee they are not pretty. But THESE... dang, these are quality. These i would cop. Well done on the custom job, really top effort.
dope and original, breath of fresh air for the custom community with all of the jordan on jordan customs
i know its not about this, and i am not a hypebeast, but i am badly wanting to see a custom lebron 9 south beach
incredible artwork. the only thing i can think that these need is a stuffed tongue, but still, the artwork itself is absolutely amazing
Personal opinion : Prefer These that feature some of my favorite SBs( like the UNKLEs, Freddy Krueger , MF Dooms, and the Melvins) over the What The Dunks as much as I would pick Tiffanys over Stussys.
