The upcoming Air Jordan 2012 flagship has caused quite a stir since detailed images surfaced just weeks ago. The White/Black colorway was scrutinized down to the tiniest of details, and the ‘Year of the Dragon‘ coerced some interesting thoughts from our readers, but what emotions are evoked by this University Blue/Grey colorway? Featuring a tonal upper with suede panels overlaying the glossy Flywire-laden shell, the Air Jordan 2012 ‘University Blue’ transmits that ‘UNC Tar Heel’ message clearly while maintaining that grown-up, graduate appeal. I remember when others copied you jb. You guys were innovators, coming out with new designs AS WELL as technology.

Im speechless. These are by far the most horrid Jordans ever! You spent decades making fashionable basketball shoes and then sit down and create this??? Hell, take a look at the Melo's, the CP3's and the D. Wade's. JB is becoming a big dissapointment. Especially since now, the only way for anyone to take JB seriously is to buy something retro'd from the Nike/Air Jordan line. Get it together, PLEASE!

Still baboon ass ugly. If you want to cop these but think they cost to much, just wait a few months……hell, wait a few YEARS….. They’ll still be on the shelves collecting DUST. I’ll laugh in anyone’s face I see with ANY colorway of 2012′s

I wouldnt pay 30 bucks for these things. The wingtip looking toebox looks aweful. Too much damn flywire as well.

Awful. This colorway doesn't do this shoe any justice. Take away the grey and add some white. The midsole should be white also.

What's up with the "N" bomb. Even if you're trying to be funny…It's not. The only "N" bomb/Ignorant MF is you and you're definitely NOT hot 2x. You're not shining in 2011 and you're not going to shine in 2012!

What's even worst is the fact that there has been 27 comments posted about this shoe and nobody had the guts/nuts or common decency to check you and your usage of the "N" bomb madness. on the contrary colorways are the only thing that can save this shoe look at the Lebron 9 a shoe that a lot of people didnt like but every colorway was so dope it couldn't be denied jb may need steal a couple people from the Lebron team n get some dope colors on this

I think that the design is lacking a lil, not enuf creativity i agree. The flywire base is uninspiring. I like lil things aboout it, but what ppl have to realize is that a lot of kids who buy jordans today, dress like they're from the '90s! I was a kid back then, and it was all about african prints (the Air Jordan 7) Patches and colors (Air Jordan
etc. Look at how Fresh Prince used to dress, he's a perfect example. Jordans are inspired and designed by the generation that surrounds it, which means, today's generation isn't setting new trends to inspire new designs that you all like. You dress retro and you buy retro jordan all the time, so of course you wont like the new shyt.

this design is garbage! i just now started rocking jays thnx to the 2011's. after one glance at these i know these will damn sure sit on a shelf. Designer should kill himself
