Air Jordan III ‘South Beach’ Customs

When the colorists of Nike Basketball came up with the ‘South Beach’ colorway, they knew they had an all-time classic on their hands. The bright aqua blue and hot pink will always be recognized for one of the more controversial moments in sports history, but maybe that dark cloud is what gives the ‘South Beach’ it’s edge, because since it was first revealed in the late Fall of 2010, the South Beach colorway took the world by storm as sneakerheads hit Nike iD and sneaker customizers with this inspired theme. Using the Air Jordan III ‘Black Cement’ as the base (an act of sacrilege by some accounts), Proof Culture effortlessly transformed one classic to another by re-painting the upper in that familiar blue while adding the hot pink accents on the upper detailing as well as on the inner lining and insole. South Beach colorway is played tf out. Forgot he did the Miami VIs with basically the same coloway but used the pink and teal as accents on a greyish base. But since bright ass colors is wat everybody likes and wala the South Beach hype wont die!! But I think these wouldve looked better if you kept the cement grey but theyre horrible
Thanks family, as you see cats cant get past the idea of the colorway and see the work in changing a classic black, cement and red Jordan, into a south beach inside and out. The detail in taking the pre heats colorway and strategically taking where the color was on them, and placing it on a 3. So thanks for the love family I appreciate it.
SneakerNews, can you guys PLEASE end this "South Beach " custom clorway. Seems to get worse and worse every sneaker.
not everything needs a "South Beach" treatment. the craftsmanship looks decent but why on a pair of Black Cements? Certain sneakers just should not be customed.

the teal blue is WAY off from the original. Can appreciate the work put into this but let's please leave the SB on the Lebron 8 and move along now

Custom shoes are starting to become obsolete. Everyone is starting to customize everything from foams, Lebrons, and Jordans. These are cool, but nothing to go crazy over. Havent seen a dope color scheme or custom in a few months.
they should have stopped making south beach customs after the retro 6 south beaches. those are the only ones that look decent
